Junior Golf at Lagoon Park
We offer seasonal golf clinics, leagues and programs for junior golfers new to the game and those looking to advance their skills. Our professional staff instructs junior golfers in the mechanics and fundamentals of the game through a myriad of fun activities, games, drills, and lessons. All skill levels are welcome and each individual is prepared to play an appropriate level of golf.
PGA Jr League
PGA Jr. League is a great way to introduce kids to golf. We're excited to announce that Lagoon Park is bringing this fun youth sports league to the course in the summer of 2023! The program is open to girls and boys ages 6 to 17.
It's not just about playing golf—it's about having fun and making friends. They'll get to participate in fun activities each week that are designed just for the league. They'll also play in a weekly match. Kids wear numbered jerseys and compete on teams in a fun scramble format.
How it works:
All kids will be a part of a local team that may consist of anywhere from four or more players. They'll receive weekly coaching and practice as well as play in league games. The League games are played in a two-person scramble format. This means that both players in a pair hit drives. The best shot is selected, then each player plays from the selected spot, and this process continues until the ball is holed. The scramble format is key in allowing everyone to hit shots and contribute to the team.
When:
Tuesday, June 6th - Thursday, June 29th
League Practice: every Tuesday from 3-4pm.
League Play: 9-hole match every Thursday starting at 4pm.
Parents, grandparents, and/or spectators will have the option to rent a spectator cart for $18.00 on Thursdays during League Play.
Cost: $349 per player
